Livestock in our country is an important part of the national income, where animal products are considered one of the basics of the human food, in addition to the national industries that rely on livestock such as wool and leather products, so the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qasim Green University endeavors to take a prominent place among other veterinary medicine colleges by contributing to the preparation of vets who are able to give and compete in the local and international labor market and play their role in serving their communityby protecting livestock from diseases through applying the latest methods they learned during the years of study in preventingof diseases and diagnostic methods and treatment, as well as working to increase animal production and play a role in the protection of man from common diseases. The college also seeks to develop livestock through the researchesprepared by the college's teaching staff members. We strongly recommend our researches to be of a practical and applied nature in order to improve and elevate the profession of veterinary medicine that carries a scientific, human, and economic sides. We seek development in the field of building and construction to meet the shortfall in its requirements. We will work Scholarship on the largest possible number of associate to master's and doctoral degrees to complete the teaching staff of the college to in line with the actual exact need in college for the academic majors, specifically the graduate studies. We are on the threshold of the new academic year, we recommend our students to exert more effort and perseverance and scientific study as well as daily follow-up of the curriculum lessons, and we urge them to exercise practical lessons on their own to be training in the correct way as well as take advantage of the college library and expertise of teachers and keep up with developments in the worldwide scientific developments.
